Manjum anjum kaip Pararajasēkara mannan vēṟpil
Panjum anjum padappāvai nallāy padaivēḷ pagazhi
Anjum anjum kayal anjum anjum kaṭal anjum
Nanjum anjum veṭṟi vēlō unathu nayanangaḷē
📖 English Translation of the Poem:
Even the clouds and fear itself tremble before the charitable King Pararajasēkara, who bears the victorious spear.
O soft and divine maiden, whose lotus-like feet make even the delicate cotton fear to touch!
The five arrows of Cupid are afraid of your beauty.
The fish with soft glances fear your eyes.
The mighty ocean itself trembles.
Even poison is afraid of your victory-giving, spear-like eyes (VEL weapon).

பாடல் பொருள்:
மேகமும் பயப்படும்படியான ஈகையுடையவனாகிய பரராஜசேகர வேந்தனது மலையிலிருக்கும், மென்மைத் தன்மையில் பஞ்சும் பயப்படத்தக்க அடிகளையுடைய பதுமை போன்ற அழகியே! மன்மதனுடைய அம்புகள் ஐந்தும் மிகுதியும் பயப்படும். கயல் மீன்களும் மிகுதியாகப் பயப்படும். விடமும் மிகுதியாகப் பயப்படும். உன்னுடைய கண்கள் வெற்றறியைத் தருகின்ற வேல் போன்றனவோ
