Vamana Avatar Explained
Sri Lanka is understood as the womb, heart, and chambers of heart of the world, a living system where cycles begin, collapse, and renew. It was the origin of an old human civilization called “Palana Nagar” in a previous era or yuga. People from the previous yuga or old civilization were called Asura because of Tamas Guna.
The last yuga was Shiva / Muruka / Mukkann in Sri Lanka.
Vamana took over the world structure after Mahabali, who is said to have descended into the earth, marking the end of one civilizational phase. However, not everything was replaced—one portion was retained for continuity.
In this interpretation, the Jaffna kingdom is understood as the preserved fragment of the old order, is symbolically represented by the umbrella carried by Vamana. This connection is reflected linguistically as well, where Jaffna Peninsula (குடை - Cuṭai) aligns with the Tamil word of “umbrella” (Cuṭa), suggesting that what was preserved is not random but intentionally retained as a covering or protected lineage within the transition of cycles.
The term “Peninsula” is further interpreted symbolically, where “PeninULA” is read as the final “ULA” referring to an umbrella. Additionally, “PeninSula” (பெண்ணின் சூலகம்) is understood in Tamil as “ovary/pistil of a woman,” reinforcing the idea that Sri Lanka is viewed as the womb of Kaali in this interpretive framework.
Vamana and Civilization Transition
When Vishnu takes over civilization as Vamana, he appears small compared to previous beings. People from Yuga 3 were 10–14 feet, while in Kaliyuga they are 5–7 feet. It often happens that old civilizations are destroyed or replaced to establish new ones, following a repeating structural cycle of dominance, replacement, and preservation of fragments.
When Sri Lanka was the world, assume there was no time—the 4th dimension—the largest yuga cycle. Within this, nested cycles operate where even the nature of existence itself changes across layers. There are smaller cycles within any large cycle, where transformation occurs differently at each scale.
In some interpretations:
co-existence without time exists in one layer
time-bound existence exists in another
and biological forms shift or creation of new living beings across deeper cycles
The idea of co-existence itself is also interpreted linguistically as Co-king → King Exists (Tamil), where existence and rulership merge as a symbolic bridge.
In addition to this, there is the Kovarthana mountain story, where Krishna lifts the Govardhana mountain to protect people and shelter them from destructive forces. Govardhana → King Trade / King-War-Auto in Tamil. All these stories illustrate kings as a form of god.
Mahabali and the Boon System
Mahabali (Mawali) was a king who was proud of his generosity and offered one boon. He is not a villain but a grounded ruler of the previous civilization, whose presence is deeply tied to land itself, almost merging with terrain as the base layer of existence. Vishnu in Brahmin form came as Vamana and asked for a boon. Mahabali granted it without hesitation.
Vamana asked for 3 feet of land. First foot on land, second foot on sky, and third foot on Mahabali’s head. This represents a cycle shift where old order is suppressed, sealed, and replaced. His foot placement is not only subjugation but symbolic closure of an era, while his upward extension suggests transcendence beyond land and sky.
Even though Mahabali is good, he is still removed in this transition, showing that even noble systems are replaced during cycle shifts.
Preservation System (Pazhani - Umbrella Concept)
Even after this transition, a portion is preserved as an umbrella. This umbrella is reinterpreted as the northern portion of Sri Lanka, shaped like a triangular canopy, representing the preserved fragment of the old civilization.
This northern region is associated with Tamil habitation and becomes the retained lineage (Ni-lineage), those who survived or carried forward memory from previous cycles; #Pazhani. The rest of the island becomes the new plane of existence, the transformed land where the new cycle unfolds.
This preserved segment aligns with Jaffna and symbolically connects to Palani as an echo of Pazhana Nagar, forming continuity of identity across cycles. Lanka was known as Pazhana Nagar as mentioned in a Shiva's Devaram. The Palk Strait between India and Sri Lanka is seen as a narrow neck or bottleneck of the world, preserving the oldest lineage; Tamils.

Why Co-Existence Creates Confusion in Asuras
When there was only 3 dimensions, time does not exist, everything co-exists on land. People would feel them as one soul even though they have separate bodies. It means everyone’s thoughts converged into a single shared awareness, so there was no separation between one mind and another. Because of this, there was no need to express anything through the mouth—no speech, no language, no external communication.
Thought itself was enough. What one perceived was already known by others. There was no delay, no misunderstanding, no distortion. Expression was direct, internal, and immediate.But even within that shared awareness, conflict could still arise—not through spoken words, but internally.
Since all thoughts were directly accessible, disagreements would not need distance or speech to exist. People could argue within themselves and across the shared field of awareness, even while being physically far apart. Family tensions, political differences, memories of past lies, theft, or betrayal would not stay hidden—they would surface immediately in the collective mind.

Kannan Replaces Kamsan
Kannan is said to destroy Tamil civilization (Kamsan), marking the end of cycles of survival. Kannan was targeted by Kamsan before his emergence. Kannan represents mixture of Black and White / Ni-Na lineage / Rat and Monkey lineage.
Kannan formed, as a black and white mixture. New Asuras came from Africa into Sri Lanka for recycling in this cycle. Kamsan rejects this mixture and tries to eliminate it. Kannan survives, escapes to India, and returns to destroy Kamsan.
This is not the Krishna of Mahabharata, but multiple Kannan forms across cycles.
Krishna and Kamsa Shift
Later after Krishna was born, he kills Kamsa, who is interpreted as Tamil within Tamil-English identity layers. This is understood as symbolic representation of internal and societal conflict rather than literal ethnicity.
The emergence of Krishna and fall of Kamsa represents structural transformation of cycles, where older systems (especially Tamils who preserved for many yugas) are being completely replaced by new order.
Worshipping Ancestor Tradition of Tamils
Murugan, Land, and Ancestor System
Murugan is also interpreted symbolically as a bridge between cycles, linking origin and continuation across regions.
People who worship Murugan worships the Lanka land itself. There is a long tradition of ancestor worship followed by Tamils. Ancestors are buried in land, and worship connects them to land identity. As Krishna said: what you focus on, you reach. So they reach their ancestors soon.

It is understood that devas move forward, but what is loosen is a precious stone that cannot be regained.
The guardian of the Tamil land (Thiru Moolar) is considered from a previous world cycle. A small, diverse group of people accept him as a guardian because he belongs to an earlier cosmic era who is like s god; Aandavan, the prior ruler in Tamil.
