Siblings of the Sun: Shared Origin of Kannan and Karnan
Krishna (Kannan) and Karna (Karnan) are understood here as siblings, both connected to Surya, the Sun. Kannan / Narayan is referred to as Shiva Surya Narayanan, while Karnan is directly known as the son of the Sun. This shared solar origin implies that both belong to the same lineage, making them symbolic siblings emerging from the same cosmic source.
Dual Genes and the Nature of Devs
Both Kannan and Karnan possess the dual nature of Asura and Mahadev genes. This dual intelligence reflects the automation of Kavach (breath, associated with Asur) and Kundal (heartbeat, associated with Mahadev). Because both systems function within them, they can be seen as Devs, representing a balanced state where opposing forces coexist and operate together.
Equal Power, Different Alignment
Even though Kannan and Karnan have equal power, Karnan is often compared with Arjuna rather than with Krishna. This difference arises not from ability, but from alignment trait. Karnan aligned with Duryodhana due to fate and his position in a low caste family, while Krishna aligned with the Devs and became a hero. This shows that alignment, rather than strength, determines recognition and legacy.
Lineage Breaks and the Cutting of the Asura Tail
Old lineages with older traditions and less civilized are considered as Asura. “Cutting the tail of the Asura Lineage” symbolizes the destruction of the old Asura lineage to allow the emergence of a new order. While Nataraja’s left leg remains lifted to preserve Parvati across Yugas, the old lineage is cut by folding the right leg, as illustrated by Krishna — a decisive act that ends the old Asura order and enables renewal.
Lanka as the Shared Birth Land
Both Kannan and Karnan are described as being born in the same land, Lanka. Kannan was moved to India to protect him from Hamsan and was raised by Yashoda after crossing the Yamuna River, symbolically linked here to the Jaffna Munai (face) River, the Palk Strait. Karnan, on the other hand, is illustrated as an Asura-born figure in India but passed to Sri Lanka. This movement reflects the shifting of identities and roles across regions.
Kanthan, Vijaya, and the Lion Lineage
Figures like Kanthan and Vijaya are believed to have come to Lanka and married Kuveni. They are described as sons of the Lion (Sinha), which can also be rearranged as Sihan. According to epic interpretations, Kanthan is the son of Shiva, indicating that the Purana traditions were aligned with this understanding at that time. This establishes a lineage that connects divine origin, migration, and cultural integration.
Multiple Karnans and Movement Between Regions
There can be several Karnans in Lanka, representing repeated patterns or roles rather than a single individual. Among them, two from the west and north are associated with India Devs but later moved to Lanka. This reflects the idea that identities and alignments are not fixed, but shift across geography and time.
Tamil in Lanka: Growth, Not Origin
The presence of Tamil in Lanka is not due to Kandhan bringing it there. Tamil already existed in Lanka before his arrival. Kandhan’s role was to develop and grow Tamil into a more structured and prominent language as seen today. This implies that the intelligence associated with Shiva was necessary to refine and expand the language, rather than to introduce it.
Traces Beyond: Tamil Roots and Australia
While Tamil evolved into a complete form in Lanka and South India, traces of its root structures can be observed in the Aboriginal languages of Australia, though not in the same developed form. This suggests an ancient spread or shared foundational patterns that later diversified across regions.
Conclusion: Alignment, Movement, and Transformation
The story of Kannan and Karnan is not just about individuals but about dual nature, alignment, and transformation across lands like Lanka and India. Shared origins do not guarantee shared outcomes. Power remains equal, but alignment shapes destiny. Languages, lineages, and identities do not begin at a single point—they evolve, shift, and expand, just like the forces that govern them.
