Why does nature always force a pathetic situation in Lanka?

Without rhythm (beats), the soul cannot live. So, for the soul — to please Shiva and to survive — nature forces a state of suffering in Sri Lanka.
It is an important location for them. They will not destroy it, but they will never allow it to be peaceful, for their own comfort.
And nature itself does not permit peace there either.
